La ricostruzioneIl match d'esordio della Premier è stato interrotto per qualche minuto al 29' del primo tempo per un episodio di razzismo: un tifoso in carrozzina ha insultato Semenyo, giocatore del Bournemouth, mentre stava battendo una rimessa laterale. Il tifoso è stato accompagnato fuori dallo stadio. Proprio Semenyo è stato poi protagonista del match con una doppietta che ha portato la partita momentaneamente dal 2-0 al 2-2 (il Liverpool chiuderà poi il match sul 4-2).
