Se non si fosse fatto male al ginocchio anche KD avrebbe potuto dire la sua, specialmente dopo un mese di dicembre giocato a livelli spaziali: "Non è frustrante essere fuori dalla conversazione" ha detto. "Ho già vinto un MVP, un premio non mi qualifica come giocatore. So cosa posso fare in campo. È sempre bello quando vieni riconosciuto come uno dei migliori, ma non sono arrabbiato e non ci perdo la testa. So chi sono"
