È festa grande a Liverpool con la squadra di Arne Slot che battendo il Tottenham ha aritmeticamente vinto la Premier League 2024/25. I Reds salgono così a quota 20 campionati inglesi vinti e agganciano il Manchester United in testa alla classifica all-time. IL LIVERPOOL VINCE LA PREMIER LEAGUE
- Mancava solo l'aritmetica che non ha tardato ad arrivare: superando per 5-1 il Tottenham ad Anfield, il Liverpool di Arne Slot ha vinto la Premier League 2024/25. I Reds sono stati protagonisti di un campionato quasi impeccabile (solo 2 sconfitte finora) e dalla 5^ alla 30^ di campionato hanno conquistato 26 risultati utili consecutivi.

PERCHÉ È LA "PRIMA" PREMIER FESTEGGIATA DAL LIVERPOOL?
- Quest'anno il Liverpool può festeggiare senza pensieri la sua "prima" Premier. In realtà i Reds vinsero il titolo anche nel 2020, ma la festa fu limitata dalle restrizioni dovute alla pandemia di Covid. Il club, infatti, diffuse una dura nota nella quale stigmatizzò quanto accaduto in città dopo la vittoria del campionato: "Migliaia di persone si sono radunate e hanno deciso di ignorare le distanze di sicurezza mettendo a rischio la salute pubblica. Questi comportamenti sono inaccettabili"

IL LIVERPOOL AGGANCIA LO UNITED A QUOTA 20 TITOLI
- Come detto in precedenza, per il Liverpool si tratta della seconda Premier League vinta dopo quella della stagione 2019/20. Prima che assumesse questo nome i Reds avevano già vinto 18 volte la First Division, l'ultima nel 1989/90. Con questo successo il Liverpool ha agganciato il Manchester United in testa alla classifica delle squadre che hanno vinto più volte il campinato inglese, a quota 20.
