Nessun dubbio già alla vigilia (dopo le indiscrezioni dei giorni scorsi che avevano già anticipato il risultato finale) e neanche per le 100 persone chiamate a selezionare il nome del miglior allenatore NBA dell’ultima stagione: a vincere è stato Mike Brown che ha letteralmente convinto tutti e diventano il primo coach nella storia dei Sacramento a conquistare questo riconoscimento alla guida dei Kings. Per Brown è la seconda volta, dopo il premio conquistato nella stagione 2008-09 con i Cleveland Cavaliers
