NBA, la stretta sul "load management": chi sono le star che la lega vuole vedere in campo
La nuova "Player Participation Policy" annunciata dalla NBA vuole ridurre i riposi non necessari concessi dalle squadre alle proprie "star". Ma per far questo, la lega ha prima dovuto definire cosa rende un giocatore una "star". I criteri sono essenzialmente due, prendono in esame solo gli ultimi tre anni di carriera e finiscono per includere 49 giocatori di 26 franchigie diverse. Ecco chi sono
ADAM SILVER VUOLE LE STAR IN CAMPO
- La nuova PPP (Player Participation Policy) è pensata per assicurare la continuata presenza in campo delle star che non sono infortunate, riducendo il più possibile i loro riposi programmati architettati dalle squadre. Le star in campo assicurano un appeal maggiore alle partite NBA, è l'idea di Adam Silver, ma prima si è dovuti arrivare alla definizione di "star player"
COME VENGONO DEFINITE LE "STAR" NBA
- Due i requisiti necessari per rientrare in questa categoria, ed essere quindi i destinatari principali della nuova stretta NBA sul load management. Per essere definito come una "star", negli ultimi tre anni un giocatore deve A) essere stato un All-Star; oppure B) essere stato inserito in uno dei (tre) quintetti All-NBA. Alla luce di questi fattori, ecco la lista delle star NBA che la lega vorrebbe vedere in campo il più possibile
