Per la prima volta dopo l'esplosione della pandemia Covid-19, tornano sul green i professionisti del golf. A Seoul, in campo tre giocatrici tra le prime 10 del ranking mondiale nel KLPGA Championship, prologo al ritorno del massimo circuito americano femminile, previsto per il 15 luglio

Con il media day e i primi allenamenti, è ufficialmente ricominciato il golf professionistico. Da giovedì a domenica andrà in scena il KLPGA Championship, che si disputerà al Lakewood Country Club di Yangju, nei pressi di Seoul. E' dunque la Corea del Sud il Paese precursore del golf 'pro', così come già fatto in tanti altri sport (calcio, baseball).
