NBA, le 15 migliori coppie padre-figlio della storia (e quelle in arrivo)
Negli Stati Uniti si è celebrato il giorno della festa del papà, occasione per ricordare le migliori coppie padre-figlio nella storia del gioco. Il sito ufficiale della NBA ha messo in classifica le migliori 15 coppie, aggiungendo anche quelle che stanno per arrivare nei prossimi anni con figli d’arte pronte a percorrere le orme dei padri che li hanno preceduti ai massimi livelli
- Papà Larry è diventato una leggenda a Cleveland, tanto da vedere ritirata la sua numero 22. Quando il figlio è stato scambiato ai Cavaliers, però, ha potuto indossare il numero del padre
- Papà Tim è un Hall of Famer, nonché proprietario di uno dei crossover più mortiferi della storia; il figlio Tim è più che altro un tiratore sul perimetro, riuscendo comunque a costruirsi una carriera più che dignitosa
- I rapporti di forza qui si invertono, visto che la carriera di papà Joe (visto anche a lungo in Italia, e come dimenticarlo) non può minimamente essere messa in paragone con quella del figlio Kobe
- Di gran lunga la miglior coppia padre-figli al di fuori degli Stati Uniti, per quanto Domas sia nato a Portland quando papà Arvydas giocava per i Blazers. Il padre è stato grande in NBA ma molto più grande in Europa, mentre Domantas nelle ultime stagioni produce triple doppie con una continuità strepitosa
- Oltre al padre famiglia e al figlio più famoso, entrambi rimasti nella NBA per 14 anni, ben altri quattro figli del grande Rick hanno giocato a livello professionistico, rendendoli una delle famiglie più celebri del mondo del basket
- Klay è ovviamente un Hall of Famer in attività, ma anche Mychal si difendeva eccome, da prima scelta assoluta del Draft del 1978 e successivamente come sesto uomo per i Lakers dello Showtime. Due giocatori molto diversi, a differenza della coppia che li precede

- I due figli gemelli di Carlos Boozer hanno i riflettori puntati addosso già da tempo, anche per i 15 anni passati in NBA dal padre, ma sia Cameron (un’ala con grandi dimensioni e versatilità, possibile prima scelta assoluta quando si presenterà al Draft) che Cayden (una point guard più dedita a facilitare il gioco) hanno tutte le chance di ripercorrere le orme di papà
- Il padre è stato un centro di stazza e difesa per 16 anni in NBA, arrivando nella lega nello storico Draft del 1996. Il figlio non ha ancora finito il liceo ma ha già le dimensioni di un giocatore NBA, e promette di evolvere ancora molto nei prossimi anni

- Impossibile non finire con la coppia più attesa dell’anno, visto che con ogni probabilità Bronny verrà scelto al secondo giro del Draft e il prossimo anno potrebbe compiersi il sogno di papà LeBron, diventando la prima coppia-padre figlio a condividere il campo nella storia della NBA
